Hot one!  Glad the heat index cooperated enabling us to get the match played today.  Strong play up and down the line-up as we picked up an 8-0 win over Portland today.  Players are really starting to understand and execute a lot of the things we talk about every day in practice.  Areas of improvement include on-court positioning while the ball is in play, shot selection, managing point pressure, etc.  Coach DeForest & I will continue to pound on these things as the season progresses, and we will continue to get better.  Really pleased with the team's play as a whole today.   We continue to get solid play out of Tommy & Niklas at the top of our Singles line-up.  Our 1D team of Jack Gordon & Rafael Deleon earned their first W of the season winning a close 7-6 second set, and our 4D team of Andrew Kovacs & Evan Czuk earned their first win of the season with a solid 0, 4 showing.  Total team effort today!
