Guys competed a bit better today earning the 7-1 win over Paw Paw.  Proud of our #1 Doubles team of Jack Gordon & Rafael Deleon for gutting out their 3-set win playing a solid tie-breaker to decide their match.  Nice for them and the team to get a win after yesterday's result.  Part of having a young team is having 5-15 minute spurts mid-match where we are not as focused as we should be.  This can cost us a big point, a game, multiple games or even can lean a set one way or the other.  This is something Coach DeForest & I are really focusing on trying to eliminate on-court with our guys.  Tough to do, takes time and match experience to learn to manage this.  We are trying to get better quickly being the young team we are.  Players are progressing nicely, but we have to keep pressing with another BIG match tomorrow @ Allegan.  Allegan, when in D4 like this year (and in our region this year), is a perennial Top 5 team.  They run a quality program.  Looking forward to see how our guys respond tomorrow.
