We came away with a 4-4 tie today against an experienced GRNPC team.  That is a good result for us!  Thank you Singles players!  We had a really nice showing from all four of our Singles players today all winning in straight sets.  A BIG shout out today to Marcus Alcaraz who did a great job managing his match, and playing his best match of the year thus far.  Nicely done Marcus.  On the Doubles side GRNPC was very solid.  We did a good job battling a bit in the 2nd sets of a couple Doubles matches, but we have to start making higher percentage plays on-court and removing some of what I call 'free points' with unforced errors, double faults, etc.  Make our opponents beat us....in some situations right now we are beating ourselves via these 'free points'.  That said, we are getting and will continue to get better in all flights.  Again, good result for our team today!
