Boys Varsity Golf @ Catholic Invitational

The Boys Varsity team travelled to Lansing on Saturday, 4/13/19 to play in the Catholic School Invite at Grossbeck Golf Course, and came away with a 2nd place finish. The Irish actually tied for first, but fell short in the 5th man tiebreaker playoff. Will Verduzco - 81, Ryan Chafty - 82, Tommy Keyte - 85, and Aidan Gillig - 89, were the counting scores. Coach Holton was pretty happy with the team's performance on a course they had never seen before. He is confident that the team would be multiple strokes lower if they were to play it again. The blustery weather was also a contributing factor in the degree of difficulty.
