During a long, warm day of good high school tennis on Saturday, 9/15, the HCP Tennis Team competed well in all flights. The Greater Kalamazoo is always a demanding tournament and it provided the young Irish squad an opportunity to play against some pretty high level teams (Portage Northern, Portage Central and Mattawan are all Top 10 in Michigan in Division 2).  Congratulations to Ben Bridenstine at #3 Singles who won two close main draw matches over Gull Lake and K Christian before losing to Mattawan in the semi-finals.  He then took home third place with a two set victory over Vicksburg on Monday 9/17.  Taking home fifth place in the Consolation Championship match were the #1 Doubles team of Blake DeForest and Rhodes Conroy.  Nicholas DeForest at #1 Singles also competed in the Consolation match on 9/17 losing 8-6 to Gull Lake.  Complete results from Saturday and Monday:
